The Vallerani System (VS) is a mechanized system that combines traditional water harvesting techniques and the mechanization of micro-basins, for the restoration of large-scale degraded soils, which can be applied for reforestation, pasture improvement, crops, windbreaks, etc.

• Maintenance and growth of natural biodiversity

• Forestry: average attendance of 300-600 mature trees per hectare after 5 years from planting.

As of today, Vallerani System ploughs have been used in 15 countries worldwide: Angola, Burkina Faso, Chad, China, Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, Syria, Sudan, Tunisia, Mongolia and Madagascar. Over 250,000 ha of arid and degraded land have been plowed so far with important results.
